_ Our Rising Stars process helps young people turn potential into performance by developing their most valuable asset—themselves.  Self-leadership development is perhaps the most critical component to achieving civic, corporate, and community goals.

Rising Stars is an innovative and unique inside-out self-development process. This research-based approach focuses on three critical elements that promote personal leadership, healthy behaviors, and the skills employers identify as essential. Participants will:

  • Develop a positive attitude
  • Develop their interpersonal skills
  • Develop a goal achievement mindset
These elements are developed, applied, and reinforced throughout the process and through a follow-up process to strengthen and perpetuate successful behaviors.

Preparing Youth to Make Positive Life Choices Some of the many positive outcomes of Rising Stars participants include:

  • Reduction in at-risk behavior
  • Increase in school attendance and completion
  • Increase in academic performance and grade point average
  • Improved decision making
  • Increased social competence and service to others
  • Improved time management and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to function as team leader and/or team player
  • Increased grade point average

How is it delivered? Rising Stars is not facilitated in an ordinary classroom setting. It is a high energy, dynamic program of activities that are engaging and interactive. Materials have been crafted for middle and high school students but can be adapted for other ages. This program is typically around 24 contact hours in length and can be delivered a 10-week process, a 16-week process or in a one week camp session format. It can be facilitated on a private one-on-one basis or in a group setting.
